Here's one of those old dusty wedding pictures I was eluding to earlier....
The before and after

So I went golfing last night with my new pink clubs...and LOVE them! It's been a while since I did as well as I did, so hopefully the luck sticks with me. Was looking for a picture of the baby to post, but haven't gotten the new ones off the camera yet so that won't work! I'll work on that later so for now here's what you get...
We finally went golfing...and I FINALLY got to golf after a 2 year hiatus. We took the baby and my mom and my little sis for babysitting duties and had a blast....I said somewhere in the 9 holes that I golfed before I gave in and took the baby home that I really needed a new bag and I really wanted a pink putter since I have so graciously used Chris' hand me downs for so long....even though I loved them. Next thing you know Chris and my mom come home with an entire set of new PINK Top-Flite clubs for me! Worst part is that just makes me want to go back, and I'm already super sore from yesterday.

I absolutely love this picture....the kiki (as lovingly referred to in our house) is a citizen somewhere in the neighborhood....I see him often and has a rather striking resemblance to our own kiki if you look fast and don't pay attention to the bulging belly! Syd saw him outside one day and spent FOREVER knocking and talking to him through the window....and he soon had the same look we often do "what in the world are you talking about girl!"

So I officially don't like the background here...but I'm too lazy to design one at the moment, so bear with me while I go through several I'm sure.... I started playing with a picture of Syd in a rather obnoxious colored outfit (this is one of those keep or not keep ones I was referring to...) and am becoming more pleased with the results in photoshop...it's more fun playing when Sydney takes a decent nap that's for sure!

I forgot about "the Cake" from my little sisters' birthday....I'm sure proud of how that thing turned out....SOOO much better than my wedding cake did, and yes, I know they tell you never to make your own wedding cake, but if I had it to do again, I'd still make it....it's fun!

If you know me....you know I've never been good at sticking to one thing at a time. I was working on baby Brooke's pictures and decided I'd been seriously neglecting the hundreds of pictures I have of my own baby....so Inspiration struck and here's my work in progress...so far awful cute, now if only I could stick with what's done!

So I had one heck of a weekend last night. I didn't know there was so much drama that existed on earth....ALL directed at my husband. After our wild Friday night the rest of the weekend seemed so slow and boring! I did have a chance to get some baby pictures that I've wanted for a long time to play with. I tried for belly pictures too, but the mommy just wouldn't have it. Hopefully soon we'll be in a house that can actually hold a studio and I can figure things out and do this for a living....it sure is fun as a hobby! For some reason it's so much easier to work on other peoples pictures, I see all the bad in my own baby's behavior and think about how much cuter she is when she's being silly instead of cranky. Oh....and soon should be what has been almost 3 years in waiting....wedding pictures resurrected from the dead!
So I got this idea from a few different places, but hadn't had the time to actually switch everything over... I've had a blog since I was in my "last few" years of college as a requirement but never really anything to do with it....and no ambition to keep it up that's for sure. For now this one will be it...until I get my Photography/Design stuff up and running at full speed.

For now I am working on a few cards to possibly put on etsy...taking pictures of my little princess...and building a good base to build a website off of to really get the whole thing going. This just seems like the perfect way to keep everyone up to date!
